Begin modifying your courses and adding content only after curriculum populates and you have crosslisted your courses (if appropriate).Navigate to Modules and then to the Curriculum and Course Overview to find the curriculum overview for your course. Remove the “star” from 2022-2023 courses. Navigate to All Courses (Courses > All Courses) and follow the steps to Customize My Courses List As An Instructor. Use the “star” feature to favorite your 2023-2024 courses.Do not begin to populate 2023-2024 courses with content until after receiving pushed curriculum.August 7-10: Curriculum Begins to Populate 2023-2024 Canvas Courses if Scheduled at the School Recommended Practice:.publish at least one course in Canvas so that each elementary primary student uses Canvas for accessing digital content and digital resources as appropriate throughout the year..publish at least one course in Canvas so that each elementary intermediate student uses Canvas at least once a week for accessing digital content, submitting assignments, participating in discussions, etc.post instructional resources at least once a week in Canvas modules so that students have a broad overview of the instructional outcomes of the week, providing as many digital resources to students as possible through modules.publish each course after modifying the HCPS home page using the established template, following the 22-23 guidelines.Students and teachers will access digital resources through Canvas.All teachers will utilize a common home page template to maintain consistency in navigation among HCPS courses and point students to modules where all digital content is accessed.In courses where teachers receive pushed curriculum, they should have all resources by August 14, 2023.
